Celeste Orlosky is a printmaker, painter, and writer. Her experiences working in the world of third spaces: restaurants, cafes, and bookstores lead her to derive from observation. Little is made up or imagined. The natural world holds the bulk of inspiration for her printmaking. Influenced by the Impressionists and Georgia O’Keefe her art is intuitive and unfussy. It is firmly rooted in experience and intuition. They are currently working on two zines; one a book of prints of Impressionist paintings she has seen in person, the other a personal essay on visiting Nancy Holt’s “Sun Tunnels” in the Utah desert.
